Bill Westmoreland's career in hair and makeup styling spans three decades. He has collaborated with such legendary photographers as Richard Burbridge, Frank Ockenfels, Robert Mapplethorpe, Francesco Scavullo, Annie Leibovitz and Richard Avedon. Westmoreland's styling has appeared in Marie Claire, British Vogue, Seventeen, GQ, V Magazine and V Man, as well as in campaigns and online sites for retail giants Target, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Juicy Couture, Giorgio Armani, Tourneau and Michael Kors.

Westmoreland is also a photographer and filmmaker. He has created commercials, music videos and CD covers for many musicians and Broadway performers, as well as photographs for the best-selling makeup book Your Makeover (2000) by Morgen Schick for Rizzoli Universe.

Westmoreland has also had a lifelong interest in painting and architecture. He creates abstract landscape paintings in the studio of the home he designed, for which he won Metropolitan Home Magazine's prestigious 'Home Design of the Year,' in 1992. His paintings were featured in Art & Antiques Magazine in 2004.

Bill Westmoreland has a BFA in painting and drawing, with a minor in photography, from Stephen F. Austin State University, 1974. He completed the New York University Summer Film Intensive in 1985, and received his MFA in Visual Art, with an emphasis on photography and filmmaking, from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 1997.
